Tree injection is a treatment method for preventing or controlling pests and diseases affecting tree health. Wonderland Tree Care + Landscapes’ end goal with tree injection is to support healthy, thriving trees in your landscape.

Like a booster shot for humans, tree injections are designed to administer “medicine” in the form of treatments, nutrients and growth regulators directly into a tree's vascular system. It’s a highly effective way to reduce and control insect infestations and prevent or treat disease and infections.

For example, as a preventive measure, Emerald Ash Borer control requires a single tree-injection application every three years. Similarly, Dutch Elm disease prevention also requires just a single tree injection every three years. Our certified arborists will diagnose and create a treatment plan that could include a combination of topical disease or insect and mite control with tree injection.

While a common form of treatment, tree injections are not normally our preferred choice. We will only prescribe tree injection for select instances when it is the only option to ensure the future health and longevity of your trees.
